You should really see a therapist to talk about how you're feeling.
I don't know your past or present situation to have a proper understanding of what may be going on in your environment. Or maybe you have a chemical imbalance.
It sounds like you have racing thoughts and that can make everyday living and tasks hard as your thoughts distract you big time. Talk to somebody!

If you feel a mental uneasiness, seeing a professional can't go waste. Remember seeing a professional doesn't necessarily mean that he/she would prescribe you drugs, (if that's the reason that prevents you from seeing a psychiatrist or psychologist.) Sometimes medication is needed though. Sometimes cognitive or other therapies are prefered. Sometimes therapies together with medication. It all depends on your situation.Only a professional can evaluate your situation accurately, so go and explain your problem. Don't feel bad about it.You can first see a GP and he/she might refer you to a psychiatrist or psychologist.

There are effective treatments (medication and/or other therapies) for issues like this, and there are many who got cured by them, so why not get use of them? Sooner you seek help, easier it would be to get out of the problem.

There are many people in this world who have suffered from problems like this and who have come out of them. So don't loose hope.

it is not crazy thinking, you are being overwhelmed, and your are having a busy mind, and thinking about too many things, so you need to slow it down, and learn to relax, let things go, let things pass, but do not stuff them, talk about them to someone you trust or someone in the professional feild. you are just looking at all of the different answers that you can get to your question, and if you are taking test on the internet, well i would suggest to go and take a real one at a professionals office. Too many of you on here are taking the test that they put on here, that do not always give you the right answer. You need to have a professional or a therapist check you out. You have a very busy mind, and you really need to slow it down and quit stressing, stress causes a lot of problems, and depression is one of them. If you have stuffed things, you need to get them out, and dealt with, otherwise you are going to stay the way you are. So please if you feel you are severealy depressed then please go and seek some professional help, and let them help you, while you are there, make sure any thing that you have been stuffing you get out, cause some day all of that you have stuffed so deep, will surely come out, and it will come out in the wrong way. So please do not try to tell yourself what is wrong with you, go and seek some help and see if they see the same thing that you are seeing, and try to be as open as you can, cause that is really helpful to them.

With thoughts all over the place you sound more anxious then depressed. Could be a million different reasons, you give us very liitle to go on or even guess.

Symptoms of depression: loss of motivation and inability to feel pleasure; deep chronic sadness or distress; changes in sleep patterns; lack of physical energy (apathy); feelings of hopelessness and worthlessness; difficulty with concentration; overeating or loss of appetite; withdrawal from interpersonal interactions or avoidance of others; death wishes, or belief in his/her own premature death

You should be evaluated by a medical professional. Cognitive therapy may prove to be very successful for you. Read "I'm Ok, You're Ok" and "Don't Panic" - both excellent books.
