Ignorance.

Cursing with the Lord's name (taking the Lord's name in vain). In my teens I started smoking, and then I started drinking, and then shoplifting. I knew these things were wrong but I did them anyway, so I figured I was probably going to hell for being so wicked. So, when I started hanging out with my coworkers who cursed and swore a lot with the Lord's name, I started doing that too. Then one day I heard a "voice" saying to me "most of these bad things you are doing mostly hurt you and the people around you, but when you take my Holy name in vain it's like a slap in the face. I've been nothing but good to you and loved you, in spite of the wrong road you're going down, and you have no reason to drag my Holy name through the mud and use it as a curse word". That was a real eye opener. Right then and there I apologized, and asked God's forgiveness and for power to overcome that sin in my life. I'm thankfull to say that He did give me the victory, and I haven't used His Holy name as a curse word since. Also, since then He has answered my prayers and given me the victory over smoking and drinking and stealing. These are just some of the many wonderful things God has done for me. He is Awesome, and Wonderful, and Faithful, and so much more!Thank you Father. Thank You Jesus!

I know I'm going to get a lot of flack from the atheists for my comments. All I can say to them is "I'm sorry if you don't know Him. You have no idea what you're missing!"

Many atheists and non-believers accuse believers of being "brainwashed". I can tell you I wasn't brainwashed. I made a free will choice to be wicked, then I made a free will choice to try life God's way. I can assure you my life is much more satisfying living it God's way, and it's better for the people around me.

I developed (RSD) Reflex sympathetic dystrophy, also known as complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) after having surgery on my elbow last April.
RSD/CRPS is characterized by severe burning pain, excessive sweating, swelling, and sensitivity to touch.
Most people have to live in this awful pain for the rest of their life and can only expect to get worse.
But after 9 months of therapy and pain blocks, I am cured. I praise the Lord every day for His healing.
