do a search on Google. Type in. Free ware shareware dvd to vcd converter. And see what you get. There are TONS of free programs that people make that work just as good as the expensive retail...some that don't work so good...and others that are not available for retail. that's the #1 rule of the internet. Don't buy any kind of program. There's a free version of it somewhere just around the corner if you look for it.
