No, that's not too short for 16.
You are so lucky that if you want, you probably can and will grow taller. Just be careful to drink milk, eat well, stay away from candy and sodas until you've achieved your desired height or however tall you can get.
I am almost twice your age and i'm barely 5 feet and i get mad at myself that i didn't take better care of myself to grow taller. i constantly drank Coke, ate candy, didn't drink milk beyond 5th grade, and didn't exercise and i am regretful every time i look in the mirror.
Do not let that happen to you. I so wish i could turn back the clock and i would've done everything to reach my tallest height potential.

You are adorable! I'm 17 and only 5' 2''...not much higher!
I always used to be worried about not being tall enough. But now, I'm really liking being shorter than all the boys (but tall enough to ride all the roller coasters!!!). As long as you've got good personality, height doesn't matter!
I got this from a friend's T-shirt once: "I may be little, but to God, I'm BIG STUFF!" Except now, that friend is, like, 5' 10'' or something! lol :D

That is indeed short, but there's nothing wrong with that. Petite girls can be just as cute and sexy as tall ones. Just look at Shakira. She too is 4'11 and many men the world-over seem to love her.

i'm 4' 10" and 16 yrs old....i wanna be at least 5'2" but i mean just be confident with yourself and don't make a big deal about it. you would be much happier. and don't worry, my friend is 16 and 5' and she dates a 6' guy. it's not like she looks like a 7th grader, she looks 17 or 18 so its all good.

i find short very cute
although yes you are short for your age
girls keep growing till 21 so you could easily get taller

well im the same hight lol... i think is kinda cute ..the guys at school love to trow me up in the air as if i was a little girl lol but then again im a cheerleader so idk but i think is cute lol
