Fiber is listed on the nutrition label between "Total Carbohydrates" and "Sugar". You are looking for 25g a day (at least)... I tend to go for grains that have at least 1g of fiber for ever 50 calories. It doesn't necessary point out true high fiber foods, but it weeds out a lot of the junk.
Whole grain, Whole wheat, and Light tend to be the trio of words I look for on the front of the package.

I have to eat high fiber foods also because i have IBS and you need to look for "fiber" on nutrition labels you need atleast 5g of fiber a day.

too much fiber cant really hurt u but u will be gassy. look for fresh veggies the brighter or darker the color (eggplant spinach carrots) the bettter they are for you because they are high in folic acid. anything mutigrain is also going to be higher in fiber as compared to white bread or comparing wheat thins to ritz crackers.

it should say dietary fiber. you should just eat as much fiber as you can as it fills you up and helps you poo.

look for the fiber content on the label. also you can use benefiber. it really does work. you CAN NOT taste or smell it.
