Jesus when he came and died for sin, brought forth a new covenant with isreal, and with al who repent and trust in Him. One who is in Christ is made whole in the law therefore is not required to keep the demands of the Law. Christ made us righteous by the Law, because he kept the Law and became the final sacrifce. There is now a new covenatn with I and al belivers inY'shua.

I grew up in the BIble belt, but I was very cynical toward God, Jesus and the BIble. and the age of 8 or 10 years, i stopped going to church completely, grew skeptical toward the Bible and became interested in other things. I was skeptically reading the Bible one day, when Gods Holy spirit spoke and gave unto me a message. The Message was Galatians 1:6-9 ”I am astonished you are so quickly removed from the Gospel you have heard to another, apparently there are some who have confused you and perverted the Gospel of Christ, but if any man preach unto you any other, then let them be eternally Condemned.” This harsh chastening of God, led me to reexamine my own skepticism. I later had yet another encounter with God, this time, he held up his Law (Ten Commandments) as mirror, and The Holy spirit convicted my heart as I came to realize God hates lying and stealing and blasphemy and adultery and idolatry, all of whom I was guilty. I knew the Bible said the Just penalty of my sins was Hell. I fell upon my face and trembled before God, because I understood His holiness, I repented toward God and placed my faith and trust in Jesus, and now I have been forgiven and granted the gift of everlasting life. My sins have been forgiven, and I have a relationship with God.
God Bless

Why is it that every body keeps trying to incorporate the Old Testament into the New Testament. Jesus said I came to fulfill the law. He died once and for (L)a(w)ll. The Old is opposite from New. He liberated you from the ignorance. What part of free do you not understand.

Read the New Testament. Christ--and Paul--specifically exempted Christians from those dietary laws.

"keeping kosher" is an Old Testament Law or set of Laws that God gave to the Jews to follow.
It is not required of gentiles in the New Testament......
so Christians do not follow that Jewish Law.

Jesus, Peter & Paul said that we didn't have to (Mark 7, Acts 10 & 15, Romans 14).

Why do people keep asking the same questions here over & over again?

Actually some still do. Seventh Day Adventists for one.

that was keeping the law, which man cannot keep, Christ died for what we could not accomplish in the law, and made it acceptable to eat as we wish.

OMG I wish that people would actually read the Bible in it's entirety and actually TRY to grasp it before they ask stupid questions like this trying to make a point that doesn't exist.
