Funny how so many people are saying to only feed dry dog food... Don't any of you people know how bad most dog foods are for your dog?
Anyway, there are a lot of table scraps that are very healthy for your dog, and others that aren't. Spaghetti is very rich and flour based, so it shouldn't be fed to your pup. A few noodles here and there wont hurt him, just don't go overboard. If there is a tomato based sauce don't give him any! Tomatoes are very bad for your dog.
If you cant make it to the store cook up some rice and throw a can of tuna (or chicken or beef) in there. Maybe add some carrots and/or cabbage. Makes a nice healthy makeshift meal for pup.

If your dog is used to eating only one thing...his/her enzymes won't be able to handle the new food, and he will get diarhea. (same things happens to people)..
But yes...he can eat that....or any of your table scraps....as long as there are no onions in it....
I'm amazed by how many people beleive the myth that people food is bad for dogs.
What, exactly do you think it's made of, people??????
Do you think it falls off some dogfood tree that God created???
The same stuff you eat...but the animals were too diseased to get approved to feed to humans. Rendering companies used to have to pay to dispose of them..till they came up with the great idea of feeding them to your pets..and convincing you that *people* food is bad for your pets....
*ALOT* of people out there need to do a little research into the oprigins of dogfood. But the book, *Foods that Pets Die For. Not some literzture put out by Purina or Hills Science Diet...
That said..there are good dog food companies nowadays...but none of them are the ones you see in commercials....

every now and then I let me dogs share a hot dog, like we went on a train and I bought them a boiled hot dog to share as a special treat. I wouldn't give my dog hot dogs every day, they have a very high sodium content and they aren't healthy for you dog in the long run. But I don't see the harm in a once in a while snack maybe once a month or so but not everyday.

If you do not have " dog food" do some research on something called a BARF diet it is food based on what dogs at before they were domesticated. You should not feed a dog human food.

Feeding a dog pasta will not cause them to get worms - however, you should not feed an animal too much, if any, human food. It is not good for them. Feed your dog dog food and your dog will be ok!

lol, pasta doesn't give a dog worms. worms are parasites.
i wouldn't give a dog pasta because it's too starchy, and they may not be able to break it down as well as humans can.
why on Earth would you want to feed a dog pasta anyway? a dog needs to be fed DOG FOOD, he's not your personal garbage disposal.

Every corner store has some form of dog food! for a short time this will do. But the most sensible solution would be to make sure you always have some extra around!

no, you are OK with feeding the dog that if you choose....I would avoid feeding your pet table scraps though- not really good for them.
Also never feed your dog chocolate of any sort or grapes or raisins.
