Whether or not you are prostituting yourself depends upon WHY you are sleeping with someone. Personally, I don't think it is a good rule of thumb to have premarital sex, but that is just me. If you are sleeping with someone you don't know, if you have multiple partners of an indiscriminate nature, if you are not practicing safe sex when you don't know a partner well, I would be concerned for your safety and health.

Are you a whore? You have to call that one. Ask yourself, "How do I feel about myself?" "Am I showing a high level of self-esteem?" "Am I proud of what I am doing?" Usually if you are having sex with someone you truly love, in a committed relationship, then the answer to these questions can be "yes". If you say "no", then you might be demeaning yourself, and you will eventually suffer emotionally from it.

The stories I could tell you of some girls I knew way back when....In high school one of my good freinds (who at 16) thought it was a riot to get all dressed up and go pick up men her dads age and sleep with them! By the time we graduated H.S. she had been with close to 100 guys.
Was she a whore? Perhaps in someones judgement she was. However, I wonder if a guy had slept with over a 100 women by the time he was 18 if HE would be considered a man-whore? No...of course not.

You don't have to sleep with any before someone calls you a whore. It's usually the junior high school child that plays those games. They write your name on the bathroom wall because they are jealous. It happened to me numerous times in high school because of jealousy.
