You will never know until you have tried it.
One thing tho'...
If you wish to be successful, a martial art is not something that you "JOIN"...
A martial arts discipline is something that you incorporate into your life.
You don't join it -- it becomes a part of you:
your thought process,
personal philosophy and
how you view & respond to the world around you.

Growing up I became aware that certain people out there don't care about life. Not theirs, not yours, not anyone. And one time one of those people took exception to me, and showed up on my doorstep with a pipe. I was lucky, I survived, but I swore I would never be so unprepared. I just think what if things went different? What would have happened to the people, family/friends who were around. What if it went further. since then I have trained in Aikido, Eskrima, Muay Thai, BJJ, and I will be starting San Soo kung fu soon. I also meditate to keep balanced. I'm not looking to compete, or be some big tough guy. But I want to know if ever someone comes to my doorstep again, I am prepared and I did everything I could to be there for those I care about. What is martial arts for? Peace. Peace of mind, peace of heart and soul. You train so that you understand what a fight really means, what's behind it. Fear? Anger? Pride? I can now diffuse fights that don't even involve me without any kind of contact. It's amazing. You train so that you will never have to use your training, but are always ready if you have to. Peace unto you.

At the risk of sounding like a sexist pig, I'm going to say this:
They can actually be an advantage to you. I was an assistant instructor and my Sifu was teaching a woman's self defense class. I was to act as the attacker while these ladies got to basically beat the snot out of me. Since I'm not a creap, I felt somewhat uncomfortable trying to get these ladies in compromising positions. My hesitation usually cost me some bumps and bruises.
You should not be embarassed at all. Wear a sports bra and have fun. The only thing you will be sorry about is that you didn't try it sooner.

Wear a sports bra and go for it! I love martial arts...it teaches self defense, but also discipline, and with Kung Fu it's so spiritual. Don't deny yourself this pleasure if it's something you want to do

Your breast size is completely irrelevant to martial arts training.
Don't be embarrassed. Go forth and pursue your dream.
Ask other female athletes for help regarding what sports bras are good.
Have fun training!
