I get 1, 3, 5, and 7 gallon pots (free) from a nursery...most places that do large scale landscaping will have lots of black plastic pots stockpiled, usually sell them for 10 cents up.

Target has some nice pots... if not target then walmart or any garden/home improvement store in your town.
