The best thing that you can do for them is to be there for them when they need you and listen...

When people are usually having a problem, having someone there just to tell their problems to is a big relief in itself. If they ask for your opinion, just do the best you can.

Listen to what they have to say & don;t offer any advise unless they ask for it. Just be a friend & let them know you care.
