I, think it will be transporter. A transporter is a kind of machine which can revolutionize the world. Suppose you are in USA and you want to go UK in one minute. The best machine to use is transporter. Also suppose that there is a transporter in both USA and UK. The transporter in USA will record all your data and will send it to the other transporter. The transporter in UK will create a copy of you there and your real body will be destroyed.
In real, scientists have successfully transported a photon over a small distance. So, in near future, we can transport and reach anywhere in the world in a second or a two.
Another technology to revolutionize the world would be a Hydrogen(H) Bomb. Today, our inventions are failing because of the lack of energy. Today our energy needs are more than we have. Although, we have discovered a source for enormous amounts of energy, that is, Atom Bomb. It uses a property called nuclear fission. If we bombard an atom of radioactive element(like Uranium, Plutonium etc.) by a low-speed neutron, some of the other neutrons in the atom start moving towards other atoms. They bombard other atoms starting a chain reaction.
But, the energy derived from nuclear fusion is much more than nuclear fission.
To understand how H-Bomb works you will have to understand how our Sun and other stars get their energy.
There is enormous amount of Hydrogen in the core of the stars. Also, in the core of the star, the gravity is very very strong. Gravity pulls all the amount of Hydrogen towards the centre of its core. At a particular pressure, 4 atoms of H combine (or fuse) to form 2 atoms of Helium and also release significant amounts of energy in the form of heat and light. This process is called nuclear fusion.
Scientists are trying to control fusion reactions at earth. If we can control fusion reactions, we can make H Bomb. The H Bomb will use the energy of nuclear fusion. It can be dangerous also. Countries can use it in the wars. But, I think that it will be used to solve the world's energy problems.

Diamond semiconductors. The diamond structure of carbon could be the best semiconductor ever, if we could just figure out how to fabricate semiconductor circuits using diamond.

Gallium nitride is progressing. There's a growing market for the devices you can make with gallium nitride such as blue, violet, and UV LEDs, laser diodes, HEMTs, etc. But the technology is still in its infancy. It only really started to take off in the '90s.

Nanotechnology

Imagine a medical device that travels through the human body to seek out and destroy small clusters of cancerous cells before they can spread. Or a box no larger than a sugar cube that contains the entire contents of the Library of Congress. Or materials much lighter than steel that possess ten times as much strength.
