Try nuts. They are good for you and fill you up. Not too many though....

Chopped raw vegetables.
When I first started running a few years ago, I was ravenous when I was at work. I started bringing chopped bell peppers (yellow, orange and red). I snacked on those. It took the pangs away.
If I didn't have the time to cut them, I would buy the precut broccoli and cauliflower from the market in the morning. That helped tremendously as well.

Be wary of empty calories and fake health foods... some "diet" bars have 190+ calories, and are little more than sugar with a couple grams of protein.
Look at snacks as a time to add more fruits and vegetables to your diet. Applesauce cups can be easy to keep... so can pre-packaged cut fruit bowls. Mini boxes of raisins are good too. Tomato soup or other low-calorie vegetable soup can be great to keep on hand.

Believe it or not, apples and cold water can be filling. Oatmeal works, I doctor it up with Splenda and raisins.
If your diet has lots of processed sugars or white flour one reason you might be hungry is because your glucose (sugar) levels are crashing. Try cutting out foods that have those ingredients in them and you will feel better and less hungry.

whatever you snack on, always remember portion control. a handful of nuts is great, but a jar of them is bad!
low calorie fat free yogurt and jell-o are good.
so are dried fruit things or fruit bars

Eating snacks will not help you to lose weight...no matter what they are, they all have calories. When I'm at work, I usually eat bananas, apple sauce, almonds...sometimes sandwiches.
