I always hear that dating in Los Angeles is bad, if not impossible. New York is also supposed to be devastating and lonely. Why are these particular cities more depressing for singles than others? What makes them especially bad?

Nothing. I live in LA, and everything is as normal here as everywhere else. (except for the movie stars) J.K.

i don't know who told you that, but don't listen to them. your chances are probably better in big cities like LA and NYC. i live in nyc and i've had several girlfriends of different ethnicities. it's a great place to meet all different types of people. so before you go to wyoming to try to hit the social scene there, give nyc a try. who knows? you might even have a little fun. probably a lot of "fun".
