I believe that the precepts stated in Colossians 3 are something to strive for, instead of trying to perfectly attain. I remember several years ago how I was so mad at my boss for his manipulative behavior, and I always turned to Colossians 3 for comfort to smooth over my anger. What I like about the Chapter is how compact things are stated for living a Godly life. I don't find this in too many other Chapters of the Bible. It is very succinct and to the point. The rules for living are stated in a nutshell in this chapter.It should be a daily read for all people, especially people in the workplace.

The number is unknown. The point is the direction and who you become. We want to be the best we can be. That doesn't mean we're perfect. If you're thinking perfection, no one does. However, regarding Colossians 3, I actually know many, many people where I live who live it pretty well (though again not perfectly, though they try to).

None! Exodus 23;13 tells us we are not to use pagan names. (like "god" and "jesus") The Almighty YHVH created this world very good. Once man sinned, he could no longer meet the requirements of YHVH. Because of His great love for man, He sent His son the Savior. The Savior's name means YHVH is my Savior!--YAHOSHUA! The only way one can have his sins taken care of is to invite the Savior in to carry them. If a person chooses to remain attached to their sins, they will be consumed in the cleansing fire the Almighty will send to cleanse this world so He can make it new! How could the Almighty be more generous?

We fall very short, but the Grace of GOD is very sufficient. We fall in sin everyday but God's so merciful. His blood cleans us, forigves and forgets. We can't live w/o the help of God. He strenghtens us,He supports and guides us. We are blessed to have God in our lives.
