Honestly, you need to condition, condition, condition! Shampoo strips away oils, and since your hair is dry you need to condition it more. Also, a hot oil treatment every two or three weeks wouldn't hurt. Use a thick conditioner and sit under the dryer with it for about 30 mins then rinse. If you use a Chi or something like it, make sure you buy the heat protector to go with it. Good Luck!

I'd stay away from grocery store brands.

Try Redken (it's a bit more pricey but well worth it). There's a line called AllSoft that I love. I use the shampoo and conditioner. Also, good for frizz is a shampoo and conditioner called Smooth Down (also by Redken). I think you will love it. Try the ButterCream leave-in conditioner - just a little but and you will not have frizz. You do have to blow dry though.

See the products here:

Good luck!

adequate, so i have curly hair that has a tendency to dry out if i do no longer use a nicely shampoo/conditioner. human beings sense that using a leave in conditioner or mouse helps. in reality, those merely conceal up the fairly difficulty. you want a nicely shampoo that enriches your hair and a conditioner that softens it. try in all likelihood the most merchandise interior the Pantene line or run by the hair salon and get suggestion from the hair dressers. nicely luck!

Keep the shampoo & conditioner you have now since it works and add in Aussie's 3-minute miracle. After you're done shampooing and conditioning......use it. Or U can use it in place of your conditioner, but it sound like u want to use all three for now. It REALLY does work miracles!

Xtra Tip....B4 you get out of shower rub a pea sized amt of miracle through hair and leave in. kind of like a leave in conditioner. Then style as usual....Hope this works for U :-}

Try using shampoos with a cream formula with ingredients like propylene glycol and lauryl sulfate.
If your shampoo doesn't lather much means it's low Ph.

If your hair needs to be softened try using silicone-based formulas.

In my op,the best shampoo for curly hair is Pantene because it softens and nourishes the hair and doesn't make it too frizzy.

I ordered one of these, it's a free sample from Sunsilk.
You can go out and buy the actual product if you like it, it's pretty cheap. I haven't tried mine yet, but it's the blue one for poofy hair, lol. Here's the site for the free sample if you want to try it, but it takes a few weeks for delivery.
