Massage won't help the bone pain, unfortunately. If she is having muscle tension from stress, etc., then getting a massage might help that. However, she should talk to the massage therapist (and her oncologist) beforehand to make sure that there aren't any issues.

There is a therapeutic massage technique for the lymphatic system of cancer patients, Also, many people think deadly chemicals in deodorants and antiperspirants are a major cause of breast cancer. It wouldn't hurt to discontinue use of those products for now, at least.

Search for answers by looking outside of the medical field. They're are hundreds of methods to heal the body of any issue and drugs only suppress the issue (not heal it). Most disease issues are internal because the blood has toxins. The system needs to be cleansed (colon and liver especially), and given nutrition.

Cleansing the body is a method Ive seen done many times with success and it doesn't matter how old you are. Must remove the toxins in the blood. One strategy is detoxifying with herbs, water, and juice fasting. One must educate oneself. Here are a few websites and their programs I recommend.

I am a massage therapist and I had cancer. A massage always feels good. I say go for it. Some argue that it can make the cancer spread. The chemo is going to kill the cancer. And I am sure she had the tumor removed. I got them as much as possible because it made me feel good.

When i did my nurse training i was taught that cancer patients shouldn't have massage especially on the affected body part or use a jacuzzi, as the pressure or rubbing can spread or disperse certain types of tumours.

Best not to take any risks as i'm sure there are other therapies your cousin would enjoy.

A "hot tub" or "spa" helps relieve the pain. If these are not available to your friend, then a long warm soak in the bathtub works too. I did not have chemo for my breast cancer, but I am doing the radiation treatments, and the hot baths help me.
