My Windows movie maker is busted!!! HELP!!!!?

im trying to make a amv (anime music video) and every time i put in an mp3 something comes up saying it needs to close and it dies. help me

Uninstall movie maker by going to settings then control panel and then add/remove programs and then add/remove windows components.....Restart the computer and reinstall windows movie maker by repeating the same process above...Open the same project saved in my videos under my documents...It should work now.
