and i did it because he was telling me all the things he didnt like about me, and when i asked him why he was going out with me, he said i dont know. i know i did the right thing. but part of me thinks he wanted me to break up with him, so he made me mad, and made me break up with him. what do you think?? could it be a possibility???

Yes, it can be. I think he tried to give u the message indirectly that he doesnt want to be with u anymore. I am saying this not because he pointed out the things he doesnt like about u, but for that he doesnt know why he was going out with u. Its really a rude answer.

This sounds like a classic pre-teen puppy love relationship. If the boy does nothing but say negative things about you and doesn't know why he's with you, then he doesn't truly care about you or your feelings. You could always talk to him more and find out if he wants to be with you or not. But from the sounds of it, I'd say he's not too interested and not going to propose to you any time soon. I know it sounds hard, but move on. There is someone out there who will tell you all the POSITIVE things about you and when you ask him why he's with you, he'll have an endless list of answers. I think you did the right thing.

Yes it's a major possibilty but it doesn't matter. He obviously didn't want to date you or he just wasn't good enough for you. It's better off this way. I've talked to a lot of guys who have said they ust start acting like horrible boyfriends to get their girl to break up with them. Take it as it is, move on and have some fun. Have a pint of Ben & Jerry's while you're at it.

Some men (and a lot of women) love to play the game of "she loves me, she loves me not." It sounds like he was waiting for you to come back and give him reasons to stay. Instead, you gave him what he wanted, but not really.
Any person, man or woman, wants to hear the comfort and security in a relationship. If you can't give the security he/she is looking for, that person will tend to find an alternate way of asking you for it. In your case, it is a very high probability that this guy was looking for you to confirm relationship security.
If you truly want to work it out with this guy, start with telling him how you feel, and where you want to go in the relationship. Just realize, by you breaking up with him, you will have to suck it up and appologize with the utmost sincerity.

I think you've got something there. I think he did it on purpose, or it least he wanted to break up with you but didn't know how. You are better off. Don't stay in a relationship and be miserable. Take it from the experienced. There are many, many more fish in the sea. :)

Yeah he probably did want you to break up with him. If he was telling you things he didn't like about you for no reason, then maybe he was trying to upset you. Maybe he wanted to break up, but didn't know how, or was afraid. So he figured he'd get you to break up with him. But either way, move on, he is obviously immature.

The person who breaks up the relationship always feels guilty. He didn't want to feel that way so he made you do it. He is a jerk. Hope you find a nice, sweet guy who loves you for who you are.

yea coz he mayb was way to scared to say thats its over with u and he couldent take it so he wanted it to let u do the move so he would have to see u suffer or sumthing like that and also i tink u did do the rite thing coz no bf shud say $h!t like that to his gf ever in his life

also try talking to him and see what was the problem and make sure ever since u broke up with him make sure that dosent ruin ur friend realation ship coz i tink u coz u just stopped dating!
