it will probably close soon. =[ how long have you had it for??? how many years? months? i have had a cartilage piercing for 3 years and i had to stretch it back out again caause the hole started to close =[ but maybe you can ask for some fishing line? lol and tie it through your nose to keep the hole open. and you can stretch it back out when you are out.. this si wht they do for pregnant women anyways! since they didnt have navel jewelry.. maybe you can talk with them. tell them its for cultural reasons and how the hell can you hurt yourself with that! lol anyways you can always get it repierced when you get out! it wont be bad! but try fishing line. but it wil hirt to streetch cartilage..and possible cause scarring.. but if i were you i would justr leave it out. i wish i had my nose pierced! lol take care koi! feel better! but try talkign with them first. if not. then just leave it out. good luck
biut piercings close at different rates on people. it could close up fast or it may not. but bargain with them! if they dont give in then just get it repierced.. maybe ask tryrel to get you a plastic retainer?? a quartz retainer.? (quartz would be better) as acrylic can cause irritation and infections. if you piercing is not completely healed yet.

i have had my nose pierced for 7 years and believe it or not, when i take it out for maybe 2 hours at the most, its pretty hard to get back in there..it closes up a bit and i kinda have to break thru the skin again. I thought i could leave it out for much longer being that i've had it for so long. i dont know if everyones different but if urs closes maybe u can just get it pierced again when u get out..oh yea!wait..they have these plastic things that u can buy to keep the hole open..like if someone cant wear it at work or something..i dont know what the hosp would say about that..its a little piece of plastic u stick in there..i think ucan get them wherever nose rings are sold...good luck

you should get a plastic retainer if you are allowed to. Depending on how long you have had it, it can close up anywhere from a hour to a few months. I had mine for about a year and a half when I lost if and had to keep it out for two weeks. I was sure that it would be closed, but it wasn't and it was real easy to put back it.

Cartiledge never really heals completely. No matter how long you have had a cartiledge peircing, if you take it out for more then a few hours it will start to close. I would say just do it and if you want to, get it done again when you are out. Good luck on whatever issues you have to work on. That is way more important than a peircing.

Any piercing takes about 6 months to heal right. Age doesn't really matter to me, if you got it done right then your parents had a say in it. You could have problems getting it in again but it shouldn't be massive problems. Hope it doesn't close up in that time.

No ones body is exactly the same...so there is no exact answer to your question...considering that your piercing is fairly new...it could take as little as 2 hours or as long as a month...are you not alowed to have a plastic retainer for it???

in case you inquire from me i think of nostril studs are relatively cute:) lip rings are cute too in the event that they're in basic terms a stud yet i'm no longer loopy with reference to the ring. do in basic terms what you wanna do and don't worry what different persons like. Make your self chuffed(:

The hole will close fairly fast it is still an open wound that will seal as soon as it can without the ring to block it
