If you live near a large city, architecture is always interesting, especially if you can come up w/some interesting angles. Or try just a small section or area of a building...

People are always fun to do...I like to just go to a large event & take photos of people...especially the kids... I live near Lake Michigan & there is an annual Festival on the lake--I like to take pix of the kids playing in the sand, etc. (But of course, let any parents around know what you are doing so you don't get in trouble--or use a good telephoto! lol)

Also, people at the zoo (mimicking the animals), or unusual/interesting people in large cities... If there is a large city park, pull up a bench & just watch...I've gotten pix of everything from families flying kites to punk/goth teens hanging out...

I also have a friend that went to an antique store & took some "source" photos (to paint from later) of collections--she had to get permission from the owners of the store first, but she has some great photos of all the antiques in different groupings by type of object--dolls, salt cups, books, old fishing reels, jewlery... We had to "re-arrange" some of the items to get a better picture, but of course we put everything back where it was..

Good Luck! And HAVE FUN taking your pix!

Why are you trying to rip off other artists Idea's? If you need inspiration read books and watch movies. A truly passionate photographer sees the entire world as a photograph, at least I do. Take walks go on hikes and read about other photographers and the things they looked at. Richard Westin, Sally Mann, Paul Stieglitz, Ansel Adams, Andre Cortage, Just to name a few photographers. I love taking pictures of children and people in general, I am very portraiture oriented and not studio but everyday life. You could document the things around you things or people that you love or even yourself.
