Wow! this is different. This is usually the cry of the ladies that there are no men out there. LOL. There are just too many single ladies around to tell you exactly where to look. Just make sure that besides honesty you do "put yourself together". You don't have to be handsome but if you put yourself together someone will be attracted to you. As much as we would like to believe that appearance doesn't matter, It plays a big role when dating and maintaining a relationship. And just approach more people........even if you think they are taken, you may be surprised!! and open your borders to love as well (Does race really matter?)

Stop looking, then you'll find the perfect one right in front of you. Don't look for someone to date. Look for a female friend that you can trust and build from there.

30yr old female. I had stopped looking and I realized I already knew the most wonderful man. We started talking more and hanging out and are now dating.

Pickings do get slim in your 30's, most eligible women have gotten married in their 20's and are raising children in their 30's. The pool of available material will widen in your 40's as the children are raised, couples get divorced and are ready to start again.

never give up
at a diner down on broadway they make small talk
when she brings his eggs and fills his coffee cup
he jokes about his love life
tells her he's 'bout ready to give up
that's when she says
i've been there before
keep on lookin'
cause maybe what you're lookin for is...

chorus:
somebody in the next car
some body on the mornin train
somebody in the coffee shop
that you walk right by everyday
somebody that you look at but never really see
somewhere out there
there's somebody

across town in a crowded elevator
he can't forget the things that waitress said
he usually reads the paper
but to day he reads a strangers face instead
it's that blue eyed girl
from two floors up
maybe she's the one
maybe he could fall in love with

chorus:
somebody in the next car
somebody on the morning train
somebody in the coffee shop
that you walk by everyday
somebody that you look at but never really see
somewhere out there
there's somebody

now they laugh at the moment that it happened
a moment they both missed until that day
when he saw his future in his eyes
instead of another friendly face
and he wonders why
it took so long
when she was always there
at that diner waiting on

chorus:
somebody in the next car
somebody on the morning train
somebody in thecoffee shop
that you walk by every day
somebody that you look at but never really see
somewhere out there
there's somebody

yeah.....somewhere out there, there's somebody............

No, don't give up. And yes, you can find worthwhile people in a bar. I should know, I am one. I've never met anyone whilst grocery shopping, though. Maybe I should try that.

NO!!! You'll find the right person, but maybe just don't try TOO hard to find HER. Just be yourself and let the women come to you. Then if she likes you ask her out another night for dinner or coffee. Anything that'll get another date.

I have a friend in her 30s. Very intelligent, gorgeous and single. She has gone back to school. Maybe college is the place to meet people?

you are not too old...you're just looking in the wrong places. The bar has to be the WORST place to find someone! it sounds like you need a friend first, something that will maybe develop in time........and don't worry about it so much.....you're still young.

Never give up. Try church groups, single groups, parenting groups,(if you have children) join a local gym etc. Get into as many social activities as you can. The worst that can happen is that you will have fun!!
