I know he will get a great job and his jobs always pay well, but he said he wants to take a break, regroup (7 years of 10-12 hours days), and help his mom out some in the city we both grew up in and where I live. since he is closer he wants to try and make us work. I kind of cut it off 4 months ago because of distance and because he was spread too thin and couldn't give me enough attention. Should I try? I never thought he would come back and try to change and get me back. I have been pretty cold towards him. my family has money too, so I am worried about that...i always have my guard up on that...I know , sounds snotty, but it has to be a concern. He is a solid down to earth guy btw

The best advice I can give is to follow your heart. If you have concerns about him being after your money, it kinda makes me feel like you don't trust the guy. I see nothing wrong with him helping his mom, but he has to have a way to support himself. If you have a bad feeling about this, I say, don't do it. On the other hand, if you still love the guy and you think it can work, give it another shot. Weigh the good against the bad and see which comes out on top.

forget about him, he still busy with his mom, I know you love him but you don't trust him financially. Have a break yourself from being in love, because 4 months is not enough, did you get to go for a break with your family or your friends, or byself. just enjoy life, maybe when you get back to your daily routine you will thenfind the answer if you want him.
but take a break!!!!!!
