My tip to you: Don't do it. Not when you're 13. Not for a while.
I mean seriously, sweetheart. You just became a teenager. Experience life, not sex.

ok i am not a woman sorry. but i have to step in here. do not get me wrong sex is a wonderful thing, but you are in 8th grade, your body is really not ready for sex at that age. really your body is not ready till at least AT LEAST 16. also think about this, depending on what state you live in he could be charged with a crime. you see in many states the laws on the age of consent are gender specific. meaning that, for instance, in the state of colorado 2 people who are both 14 can have sex. the boy can be charged with sexual misconduct with a minor. but under the law the way it is written a 35 year old woman can have sex with a 12 year old boy and face no legal ramifications. my main point though is that sex is not the most important thing it is worth the wait, especially with the possible medical ramifications that can arise from it. you could get pregnant, your body does not yet know how to react to what it will experience during sex. there are so many reasons not to have sex yet. i would recommend an honest open discussion with your parent or some adult that you know you can trust about this. you seem to have your head on pretty straight, you guys are actually talking about it first. i think you will make the right decision.

nothing but trouble right now don't do it obviously you don't need to. You have been with him this long without it and it wont hurt to wait another year or so. I dated the same guy in middle school and high school and we did not do the deed until i was 15 and he was 17 but it was not the basis of our relationship. i might suggest that you wait with all the problems that can arise from it. What ever you do do not get pregnant it will ruin your life some of the best years you got and you will regret the decision

you're still a child! hold off on sex for a few years, it's not worth it! Just because you have been with him since the 4th grade doesn't mean you're ready for sex.. that's a huge step, and you need to be more mature than you are to be ready for that.. I know you don't want to hear all of this, but you've only been alive for 13 years!!! Enjoy your childhood while you still have it!

don't worry about this, you are in understandable age and I think you get to think more at the heart than at the mind.
think that you might be experiencing this the day you will get married, leave it a special experience, you will get to stduy science or ask a doctor ( gynocologist), and they have a lot of awarness for the young generation.
be carefull, you might get SIDA or Hepathatis B illnesses that cause death. or getting pregnant at a young age, is bad bad idea.
so, focus on your sport or art actvities, tend to have friends, forget about your sex life for now, read more about it through science module, you can find books at the library that increase your postive educational knowledge about sex life.

In the 8th grade?.........the first time isn't even worth it especially when you are that young. Wait until it is special and when you both might know what your doing. And if you decide to do this.......MAKE him wear a condom!

I would wait. I had sex for the first time when I was 14, and I wish I would have waited. If he loves you and really cares about you, he wouldn't mind waiting either.
