ok so i said sometimes i can't take a shower everyday and someone called me a NASTY

I don't think it's gross. I think it depends on where you live and what your doing. Like right now, I'm in Ohio, and it -4 degrees, so I don't think it's nessasary to take a shower everyday because all I'm doing is sitting around. I usually take a shower every couple of days, depending on what my activities are. Sometimes, I'll just wash my hair if I don't feel like taking a shower. It's negative 4 degrees!! No one is going to notice of I don't shave my legs! lol

To answer your question, I take a shower and wash my hair every other day. The longest that I can go without is 2 days ,which is not that often, and then I start to feel icky and HAVE to do it.

I think it's a personal choice. Everyone is different. Some people take 1 or 2 showers a day, some take 1 a day, some take one every other day or every 2 days, and some only take them once a week. I think it really all depends on the person. And ,like a couple of the other users said, it depends on the climate and whether or not you're active.

We're on a well system, so during the summer, we try to cut shower times (and numbers) to a minimum. But I have a cottage on a lake, so I can just take a swim anyway. But during the winter, I get so busy with classes and work, that I'm just too lazy, and, I'll admit it, I've gone a day or two...or three...without having a shower. As long as you don't stink, and you still look half decent, like no greasy hair and stuff, than I would definitely not shower every day. That's just a waste of water. And even if you don't want to do the full shower thing, just having a "sponge bath", where you just wash necessary areas with a wet cloth and soap in the morning, when you wash your face, etc. works just as well. Unless you've been working out, or sweating a lot, then please, for the rest of us, have a shower.

It depends on your location and culture. Here in the Philippines most of the people take a shower everyday at least once a day (though some does it 2x - usually at night or more a day). For tropical countries where it is humid most of the time people perspire easily does the need for one to hit the showers.

But for people living in cold places where perspiration is minimal, it is OK not to take showers daily but see to it that you always smell fresh by using deodorants and colognes. Normally deodorants (the good ones) last for about a day or two if you don't perspire that heavily. So getting a shower every other day is OK.

I must admit I am one of those wasters of water as I take a shower at the start of my day (in the mornings) and before I go to sleep (at night). That is what I usually do. But if it is really very hot and humid I take a shower as well to cool me off.

I shower every 2-3 days cause my hairs naturally curly and i straighten it and i dont like to straaighten it everyday so i wait a couple days wen its straight then i take a shower and straighten it again so thats not nasty at all only if you just worked out or sumthin and your stinky and sweaty then u should take a shower

Well no it's not nasty what i think is gross is going over 2-3 days without showering. I am guilty of sometimes not showering everyday though it's not often, sometimes i am just to tired!

I typically shower almost every day. There are those select days where I don't really go anywhere or participate in any strenuous activity so I won't. It's not nasty to go a day without showering I think, as long as your not dirty from working out, playing a sport, etc. and you don't make a habit of it.

i take 2 showers a day at night time and in the morning so if you don't take a shower every day you aren't nasty but try to shower as soon as possible on the next day! okay you are not nasty so don't listen to them!

Most of the time I shower every day, but if I didn't do much that day, ie: a lazy saturday, I dont worry about it till Sunday morning. There isn't anything nasty about showering every other day unless you get really sweaty every day and smell gross that night. Ignore them, they are just being judgemental.

I shower EVERY day. I smelled too many @sses and now I get paranoid so I shower every day. I don't know if it's because they don't wipe or didn't shower or what, That stench usually comes from men though, I noticed. You can usually get a whiff of them when they are standing in front of you in the checkout line.
