What should i do?
i am 15 and a Sophmore in High School. i like one of my friends i don't know if he likes me i catch him staring at me sometimes and when he sees i notice he continues to stare at me when i ask him why he is staring at me he just keeps staring at me and say say just because. one day on my bus i closed my eyes and when i opened my eyes he was looking over the seat and he told me he was just seeing if i was awake, but i don't know. also when this guy i used to like purposly hurt me he treatened to beat him up for me he is always playfully picking on me about stuff like he tells me i am mean and we will spend like 10 min playfully arguing about it then sometimes he touches me on the arm or forehead. i really like him but i do not want to mess up our friendship if he dosen't like me also he may not like me becasue about a month ago he broke up with his girlfriend then asked antother girl out if he liked me wouldn't he ask me out they are still dating

I would say he likes you, but what we think men are thinking or acting a certain way isn't the case. He might be thinking the samething about messing up your friendship instead of going out with you. The best thing I could tell you, is to just come out and ask him. I know it wouldn't be easy, but I can't imagine what else you could do. And if he is really your friend then it won't matter one way or another that it even came up. Good Luck!

From what you have described i would say that he definitely likes you.Im a guy and can say that for sure because i have tried the same little antics with the girl i liked and was too afraid to tell her lest what we did have was affected too.
The best thing you can do is to find a way to convey to him that you like him but very softly,for instance you could get one of your female friends to drop him a hint about your feelings.

I think he does like you, maybe hes just thinking the same thing as you so hes afraid to ask you out. Maybe he also thinks it will ruin your friendship with him.
