I always heard if ya sprinkle pepper somewhere a cat won't go there cuz they don't like the smell. Doubt you want pepper around your bathroom but hey it might work and you don't have to go to over board with it. Obviously the best thing is to keep the litter clean.

Cats are very particular about litter boxes... Mine has taken to the tub once or twice (my fault not theirs)... I started using clumping letter and clean it (scoop) every day and every sunday clean it completely and moved litter box to a different area in the house (it was in the bathroom)... I left the bathroom closed at all times for a couple weeks and no more problems

Lots of cats would go to the tub and think the tub is their litter box,but when you see your cat and you saw it did it`s buisness in the tub don`t yell at her she is still a kitten not even 1 year old,so take it easy she is only a young kitten.also you should get this thing called littermaid for cats it`s really good. It`s a automatic litterbox. My cat has one.

Make sure her litter box is clean all the time. Scoop out twice a day at least - once in the am and once in the pm. That's what I do and I have 2 litter boxes to keep on top off. Its just one of those things you need to do darling if you don't wantkitty to get the snits and pee or poo where you don't like. :(

No kidding!! would you like to go in a dirty toilet? Thats the same way cats feel about their bathroom time. To prevent this from ever happining again, scoop the cat box once a day, change it once a week with fresh litter. There, no more poopy bathtub!!!

It is alot easier to clean out a tub than a carpet! In the ancient acestory the cat lived in wet caves and a damp area draws them to????duty--Close b/r door.

Just run and make sure that litter box is cleaned before she runs to the bathtub. I guess you have to put the litter box first and see what happens.

clean the litterbox once a day, if that doesn't stop it clean it twice a day. Some cats don't like to go even after they have gone to the bathroom once. (Don't you flush after you've gone, same concept.)
