My 2 year old boxer has what looks and feels like a scab on both tips of his ears. The weird thing is they never go away. Even after I scrape them away they just grow back within a few days. They dont seem to bother him at all, but I would like to know what they could be. Anybody got any ideas?

Take your dog to the vet and have him/her do a skin scraping. Some types of mange exists on the ear tips. It could be an untreated medical problem. Or it could be a skin allergy. Have you vet determine what it is though.

Your dog may have scabies which is a mite,it could infect you or other pets you may have. He could have mange which serious skin problem, put a healing ointment Vaseline is good on his ear tips. Your dog is your responsibility take him to your vet .He must be uncomfortable, help him.! certainly this is not a normal condition.

I would just leave them alone. If you keep picking them, they will never go away. Just watch out for infection. If you see pus coming out from there, then it's time for the vet. Stop picking!

ask your vet if its something serious he will give you something to heal it if its not he will reasure you!! if you dont have a vet call a humane society of some sort and ask if they can check up on your dog sence you have no money (if you have money they would probally make you go to the vet i know my cousin tried!!lol)
