One thing I would have done differently is to listen to them more. My children taught me so much. A trick I learned in raising my kids was to tell them that school was a place to show the people how smart they were, that learning was what happened when you were helping others. This kept them in school. They helped other children and learned so much from that experience. I have 4 children and 3 grandchildren, as well as 2 step children and 1 step-granddaughter.

What I would have done differently was not to be married to the jerk that I was married to. I raised my children on my own and my ex did not participate much in how they were raised. He stood in the way of everything that I tried to do for my children. We are now divorced and my children are grown. I have a grandson and thank the good Lord my son is a good father and helps to raise his son.
I have 3 children. A son-35. Another son-34. A daughter-29.

I have 3 kids.

I would have only one kid if I can do differently. Life would be easier.

I wouldn't have done anything differently..
I took my kids to church when they were just babies, they are still going to church.
I read to them, took them lots of places, taught them to never look at handicapped people differently and most of all, to love others as Christ loves them.... Daughter - 32 Son - 27
