out of curiosity i did the online esurance quote to see what my rat would be...i got my quote.....i didnt buy anythign but i gave some general info including social security info...will they charge me?

no they just need those information to see how much you would pay. no one charges for quotes, unless they tell you up front.

They won't charge for a quote. Why did you give social security infor? It is not necessary in any way, shape, or form for a quote.

Clearly you left some information out when you got yoru quote.. did you tell them about every ticket youve received? Every accident? If you gave false information on your quote of course your rates will increase when they find out the truth. This site isnt for "consumer polls"- its for questions

they shouldn't charge you unless you agreed to purchase insurance.
