i would like for her to trust me and hopefully move on in a relationship of love as it was before the breakup. as a man do i have a chance too regain her respect?

Well, seeing she is a girl, unless it was play fighting and you gently hit her back so it would not hurt that would be OK, however if you hit her back, you really have to show her you'll never hit her again. Don't hit women.. it is just wrong

No. sorry. Why the hell did you hit her back. im not saying she should have hit you (that was wrong) but, you should never hit her. If shes really stupid, you might have a chance with her again.

Hitting is the ultimate NO-NO! Hard to patch that up. You should work hard at not letting that ever happen again to any relationship you have. It will only lead to bad things. If she is a hitter too, she needs to check her anger as well...........................

Never ever hit a girl, and never ever expect a girl to see you again after you hit her. If you're hitting each other, you need to break up. Period.

my brother had a similar problem to me the gf shouldnt have never hit you then maybe you would never have this happen anyways i think you could put this behind you and be friends unless she an a ss

Good for you, it's good you hit her back. I don't belive in that **** that you can't hit a girl.
She hit you, so you hit her, it's simple.
Don't go back with her, and she hits you again...kick her where the sun don't shine...worked on a girl who made me feel so much pain i was crying anyway.

u hit her man...its gonna be hard...never hit a girl, even if she hit u first...what u should have done was try to talk to her..not hit her..n try to call her back later...only way she will come back..is if she really loves u...good luck...but if it was my lil girl u hit, im sorry but death would be on its way...but if u really love her... go for it..and uh...think before u do stuff.

I hate it when things like this happen.Women put there hands on men and expect them to just sit back and take it.I think that if I put my hands on my fiance like a man then he should be able to do the same to me.But anyways,let her cool off.
