ok i got my belly button pierced about 3 days ago and it wasnt sore now its hurting, got a lil white discharge and swoll up while getting hot and hard. should i take it out i have been using bactine what else should i use??? or is this normal

You have an infection. Get to a doctor pronto. You'll need antibiotics. I hope whoever did the piercing used sterile equipment!

I had the same thing happen when I got mine done. The place that did it told me to use antibacterial soap on it but it wasn't helping. I think it wasn't rinsing out all the way. Then my multipeirced friend told me to only use Bactine. It helped alot but I also got antibiotics and it healed just fine. Good luck.

It is infected. See a doctor an get some antibiotics

Edit Yes it is really infected and antibiotics are probably necessary and I would go to a doctor if I was you! Don't get a diagnosis off of the internet!!!Salt water soaks will help until you see a doctor!

Sounds like an infection! Make sure to clean your hands well before touching your ring to clean it! Probably should see a doctor for some antibiotics!

it sound as if it is infected, go and see the person that done it they should be able to give you some advise or the doctor. Hope it is all OK.

I would wash the area good with soap and water, dry it, then put some Bacitracin on and a little band-aid. Do this a few times a day, and you don't have to worry about calling me in the morning.

Infection manifests itself with the following symptoms:

Heat
Swelling
Discharge
Pain
Redness.

Yes it is infected, and if you haven't already got antibiotics, please get some.
Try an iodine spray too (see pharmacist)
