That wasn't God's plan (I don't think - Who actually KNOWS God's Plan?). That was the greed of the kings, queens, and Popes of the time.

The evangelism of North, Central and South America was secondary to the expansion of territory and the search for wealth. The plague was not intentional and would have been caused by any outsiders coming into the area at any time.
The leaders of the Roman Catholic Church weren't actually the main supporters of the expansion west, it was more the Roman Catholic leaders of the powerful (and soon to become powerful) nations of Europe.
I think your question is slanted and faulty.
However, if you want to say that the RCC has had bad leaders in the past, and perhaps the present; that it has supported cruel and unjust regimes off and on throughout history (Nazi Germany is an example), then you have lots of facts to draw from, but going back 500 years, and then blaming the expansion to the west on the Roman Catholic Church in order to stir sh*t isn't all that effective. Study a bit, you'll find problems with today's churches, ALL of them. But if you study, you will also find a lot of good in most churches.

No, it wasn't God's plan; just as it wasn't his or her plans to have all the British and their descendants pour out over the North American plains massacring natives. At least the Spanish Catholics forcem into Christianity and thus they needed them alive, but the North Europeans killed en masse.
It wasn't either his or her plans to have the gringos en masse pillaging and plundering Latin America (first) and now the Middle East.

Jesus said, "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:18-20)

It is God's plan to evangelize the entire world but not through violence.

The conquest of Central and South America was financed and run by governments of Spain and Portugal not the Catholic Church, although priests were allowed to tag along to minister to both the soldiers and the natives.

Any sickness brought along by the conquerors was accidental, not intentional. People did not know much about how sickness spread at the time.

With love in Christ.

It is impossible that God is pleased by evangelization using violence or any other way that oppses His will.

We should still say that these south american people did receive God's grace of faith, not because the Europeans' way was good and deserves a good result but because God is good with these people.

If your intention is to point out that the ways cannot justify the means, then you are correct.

Part of God's plan is that everyone comes to know Him, but this does not mean God automatically approves of every means by which people have attempted to Evangilize.

No.
Just why would God plan that? That was a plan that man came up with to gain power. The plague part was aunknown to all at that time.

Even the salvation of one unredeemed sinner is worth the life of the evangelist. But God is in charge, so He will not allow any lost of life to happen in vain.

I don't think so. Jesus never went around killing those who opposed him.
Mohammad on the other hand lol He wanted all the Christians and Jews killed at any price.
