That is just an upsurd leap of logic. Don't think your deep because of that question. I'm sure that's the reason we don't have a cure for cancer, because of money given to churches. Churches like the Catholic church who underwrite thousands of major hospitals across the USA, or the Baptist Church who is responsible for building homes for the homeless worldwide, or many other religions who care for the "least" of society, and by the way, support medical research on Cancer. But, by all means, don't let the facts get in the way of your opinion.

Aside from the irrelevant first part of the question, cancer is but symptomatic of "that which causes death." Before that we had polio. After that we have AIDS. Black death, malaria, etc. The issue is not how we die, but that we die. Religion deals with the that and has been remarkably more sucessful than science dealing with the how.

Why would you think that?

The true nature of man is not of peace. We are mean, greedy, cruel and wish for power. What does religion bring to us in it`s teachings Love , hope , kindness and charity. Men are the ones that turn religion into a system to please mans greedy needs.

That's false. If SCIENCE would stop making remedial medicines (Ex. Viagra, Cialis, and the others) they would find a cure for cancer.

I doubt it. If people didn't waste their money on religion they would just waste it on porn and cigarettes.
