Plus, his office mates saw it too. i was so embarrassed. how can i face his parent, his sisters, his friends? but for him he is so happy about the whole situation. any comments?

Just treat it like it is... funny!

All you can do, is walk into the room with your head held high. Don't LET this make you feel bad! If they know it doesn't bother you, (even if you fake it) then it will take away their power to make you feel ashamed.

Just remember...if HE'S happy about this, then his parents must be the type of people who can laugh with him. If they weren't...he'd be ashamed that they had seen it too! After all, you didn't do it purposely. Just be more careful next time...and those who are giving you a hard time about this, have probably not dated someone for an entire year and abstained from sex the whole time. If a hickey is the worst you've done, I surely wouldn't sweat it!

It's only embarrassing to you if you let it be. The hickey was between you and him, and it's none of anyone else's business. I give my boyfriend hickies all the time, and I'm never ashamed. I love him and I don't care what anyone else says.

If that doesn't help, consider this -- everyone you mentioned as noticing the hickey has had a hickey or given a hickey before. Just think of it like that.

Nobody is really teasing you, but actually congratulating you on a fine job, at the age of 25 and yet still just friends is kind of neat, I think that in alone says you respect each other alot, and would also be a trusting and long relationship. So I think your friends are actually tring to push you together, good luck

I don't think it is embaressing at all. The embaressing part should be that you are 25 and afraid of hickies.

Don't say anything. Unless they bring it up which I think would be childish if they do. And if they do bring it up just say It was an accident and laugh it off if you draw to much attention to it then it will be embarressing.

Sluff it off...no big deal....you need to laugh at the situation and enjoy it. Whats to be embarrased about anyway, after all you are going together.

Don't do that. It was not cool in high school and not cool now. People at his WORK saw it? Too immature. Don't do it again
