I have a strange fasination with deadly stuff like radiation, poisons, strange diseases, and lethal elements. I won't go near them at all, and I sure as heck wouldn't let anyone else touch them, but I love to learn about them and their structures and their life cycles, it's like an obsession. Am I freaky? I feel like I need tharapy or something...

I do not think that you are freaky or weird. Some people who are fascinated with these types of things, especially from a young age, have gone on to be research scientists, forensic specialists, and members of CSI all over the country.

If you have not chosen a profession, you may want to consider going into scientific research. When someone has a natural fascination in one area, it generally means that it can become a passion in their life. If you work in an arena where you have a natural fascination and passion, what a wonderful life you can have.

A family member of mine happened to be drawn to chemistry and science at a young age, and is now one of very few women who has excelled in her field of chemical engineering. She was being scouted by various potential employers before she even graduated high school.

The only time something like this could be a problem would be if you were thinking of ways to harm yourself or others with this fascination. Good luck to you, and always remember to follow your dreams and passions. Have a good night.

I would say you have a lively fascination or curiosity. However, if this is something you obsess about or constantly think about then that is not healthy for you. Have you ever taken a chemistry class or do you look up stuff on the internet about chemicals. AS long as you don't plan to do anything illegal or inappropriate with these chemicals then I wouldn't worry about it. Again, it is only a problem when you spend so much time thinking about them that it prevents you from living your life. It also depends on how long you have had this fascination/obession. If this has been going on for a long time then you might want to talk to a professional and see what he/she thinks. Otherwise, you just sound like a person who has a particular interest and curiosity about something and the fact that you do not want to expose yourself to poisons is a good thing - you at least have some contact with reality.

It's a morbid curiosity but it doesn't mean theres anything seriously wrong with you. You just thirst for knowlege. If you ever get the urge to use the stuff then you can start to worry & get some help but we as humans want to know about a lot of different things. And some of the things we are curious about are pretty gross to others. As long as you don't hurt anyone or yourself, you'll be okay.

You're not freaky. You are pulled to learn about those things for a reason. Maybe some specialty in forensics or law enforcement is a career calling.

No you're not weird. That stuff can be interesting, and I can see what you mean if you're trying to study how they work etc. There's a huge field of careers (nuclear engineer, scientists etc.)you could look into if you really like this stuff. You don't need therapy as long as you're not trying to use it on people. Don't worry, just have fun with it.

I read about torture. That makes me no more freaky than you. It is like people who read gun magazines. Just curious and wanting to be near something bad and dangerous. Adds some spice to our lives. Since we never actually DO anything related to what we read about, I would say NO, you are perfectly normal.

Wow..this is scary. i might want to proceed to convenience your daughter as you've. be particular she is conscious you'll always keep her secure and that God + Jesus will preserve her. i might want to also tell her you're proud that she prayed and she or he might want to proceed to take action - in spite of what the voice says. i imagine letting your daughter understand you've faith her and could no longer punish her for what she is telling then you definately she will keep telling you the reality and experience safer. it really is a negative feeling to have human beings no longer trust you, so be particular she is conscious you do. you are able to also pick to attempt to spend a evening in her room without her there (if she is going to a sleepover or something) and be conscious in case you listen/experience something unusual. She feels like a sturdy, courageous little lady so protecting her that way is needed. in case you commence having her sleep with you, or in spite of she might want to change into even more effective worrying. If she keeps to ***** about this i might want to search for suggestion from such as her well being care specialist or maybe tell your priest about the precedence. you are able to also try switching her room (because you reported you had 4 rooms and in uncomplicated words 3 presently are occupied) and be conscious if that permits. i wish each little thing works out properly! Please keep us as a lot as date!

I wouldn't say that you are freaky, I would say that you are just a curious person. You know that they aren't anything that should be taken lightly and know that they are dangerous. You just want to know how they work, therefore just curious on the technology that has come about.

No-you've hit on something that interests you. Maybe you could go into a field that utilizes that (forensics, medicine, physics?). Maybe you will be the next Dr. Jonas Salk! Go for it!
