when someone 'mocks their prophet'.
when someone converts to another religion.
when someone is a Christian or a Jew.
when someone disobeys their husband.
when someone in their country won't acknowledge Mohammed.
When else is it OK not to be 'peaceful'?

I don't agree with E.T. 01 but you guys are being absolutely pathetic.
As a Christian and a woman I would be terrified to live in their country and their country and that's a fact. If they were "peaceful" as they claim, 9/11 wouldn't have happened and they wouldn't want to annihilate Israel off the map.
So, maybe ET01 is either thoroughly indoctrinated and is a "good" Islamist or else misunderstanding their true doctrines or we are misunderstanding all their false doctrines about God and relating all of their religion with a number of extremists who are bad Isalmists. It happens to every religion to be labeled by the actions of a certain few.
That being said, it is a deceptive doctrine. There is one name under heaven whereby we must be saved and that is Jesus Christ the righteous. His blood alone atones for sins. He alone lived without sin to be the perfect sacrifice before God. He is the only way to God who is love. If we were all brothers and sisters in Christ, mean things would not be said and done to one another. Jesus said to pray for those who despitefully use you and to pray for your enemies. That is what Christians in America are about so hopefully our Muslim friends will understand we aren't all hateful just because some of the posters here are. We must all go the way of the cross or end up in the same eternal hell.

no actually, the only part that would make me less than peaceful would be when someone would mock Muhammad (pbuh). and even then i wouldn't be set on killing them or anything i would just lose my respect for them.

converting to another religion after being a muslim is a big crime in the eyes of God but thats for God to judge and not for me. i should be more focused at how good a muslim i am before i point any fingers at anyone else.

when someone disobeys their husband? in islam a wife gets a great award when she is good to her husband but she is not allowed to be mistreated by her husband.

if you are referring to the verse that allows a husband to beat his wife you need to understand the whole verse. if you are beating your wife because you didn't like the food or anything, you are committing a big sin! the only circumstance was when the wife was having relations with other men. and it first tells you to warn her, to admonish her. then to leave her bed and even still if she does not stop then as a last resort. but there are many conditions to that too. also there is some dispute over the word meaning "beat" also meaning "to leave" and that it may mean to leave the wife as a last resort instead of beating her.

the last one is also wrong. you dont acknowledge Muhammad (pbuh) as a prophet and i feel no hostilities toward you for it.
