The Bible tells us (Genesis chapter 12) that nations receive blessings by blessing Israel; and nations receive curse by cursing Israel.
You can basically go through history, chart the rise and fall of each country based on how they treated the Jews.

A friend of mine made a very astute comment regarding this subject..."Yes, but chosen for what?" They are acting like the Nazis. They have been pushed upon the Palestinians (the Exodus) and they want more land than they were originally given.
Roosevelt, Churchill and Rothschild (a Jewish banker who paid for this Zionist venture) put these European Jews down there because no other country would take them after WWII, not even the US. Anti-Semitism was still prevalent. There is no place in the Bible where what you have just said is written. What it does say is that the Jews will not be saved from Armageddon until they accept Jesus the Christ as their savior. Go read the Bible.

Israel is technically the people of God according to some proponents of the Bible. Everybody that descended from Israel such as the British, Americans and so on are all people of God. Thus, they are uniting to fight whatever menace there is to their existence.
