If a sin is an act against society it would be that act which causes the most damage. If a sin is any act against the ten commandments I understand that they all carry equal weight.
In my mind a sin is doing something which you know to be wrong and that you know will damage others. The sin is not necessarily the action but the knowing intention. Every day we each kill hundreds of simple organisms although the Bible says "Thou shalt not kill." We don't usually intend to kill bugs etc. and certainly have no evil intent when we do so to protect our property or health so I cannot regard this as a sin. Burning kittens alive and pulling wings from flies is, in my mind, a sin because of the intention to cause pain and suffering and the lack of any purpose being served by the act.

The worst sins of all are mine. No matter what anybody else does my sins are always worse. My sins are the only ones that I have control over. My sins hurt me more than anyone Else's could. My sins are always the worst simply because they are mine.

But this doesn't mean that I hate myself. Far from it. You see, I know that when I ask for forgiveness, I receive it. Then I am completely clean. So that I know that if God can forgive my sins(the worst) then He can And will forgive anyone. And so should I.

31And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

UNPARDONABLE SINBlasphemy against the Holy Spirit (Mt 12:31-32; Mk 3:28-29; Lk 12:10); either attributing to Satan the work of the Holy Spirit through Jesus, or rejecting the testimony of the Holy Spirit regarding the person and work of Jesus Christ. Possibly the same as the sin that leads to death (1Jn 5:16-17).
Instances of unpardoned sin: Israel (Nu 14:26-45), Eli's house (1Sa 3:14).

Blaspheming the Holy Spirit. (unforgiveable) Lu 12:10
That would be attributing the work of the Holy Spirit to Satan when you know it is of God. The Pharisees did this because they were jealous of the crowds that Jesus drew and said his miracles were of the devil knowing full well they were not.

The only other degree of sin is mentioned by Paul is sexual sin because it is against your own body.(1Co 6:18 )

The Almighty YHVH created this world very good. Once man sinned, he could no longer meet the requirements of YHVH. Because of His great love for man, He sent His son the Savior. The Savior's name means YHVH is my Savior!--YAHOSHUA! The only way one can have his sins taken care of is to invite the Savior in to carry them. If a person chooses to remain attached to their sins, they will be consumed in the cleansing fire the Almighty will send to cleanse this world so He can make it new! How could the Almighty be more generous?

I believe the worst of sins is to go through life w/o knowing what u believe in. We waste our lives going day to day thinking we can outdone/outsmart God. We try to ignore His touch in everything around us. We think we can do it all by ourselves, which is very sad. It's not until we feel how worthless and how unworthy we are, that we can have fulfilling lives.

There is no "worst sin." All sins are equal in evil. It says in the Bible that "sin is sin in God's eyes."

"Denying the Holy Spirit"... which means you know the truth but you refuse to tell the truth.... a blatant lie. The bible says not to fear the person that kills the body, rather fear the person that kills the "spirit", which means people that purposefully lie and mislead people into their demise. Kind of what happens when our politicians say one thing and vote another way.....they must be living in fear of the fire.
