When you have a cold, as so recommended. Also, if you are so concerned about time, take it at 11:15, that should do the trick.

I would guess about 20 minutes before you want to sleep. Most cold medicines take about 20 minutes to get into your system and start working, so I would think Nyquil would work the same way.

11:05- 11:10 maybe. whats so important that you have to be up until after 11, you know nyquil lasts for 12 hours right?

yes that is a good ideal to take it around 10pm I take nyquil too and I always take it before I go to bed even at midnight after I am done sufting the net. unless I am too tired to stay up.

Take it around 11:00 then. You'll start feeling drowsy within 15 minutes or so. It should fully work by around 11:30.

It usually works in 10-15 minutes tops, depending on how much you take and how much you weigh. If you are really sick, take a double dose. Also, if you feel a cold coming on, take some and it can help dry you up so the cold can't survive in your body. Dry up meaning the mucus in your nose and lungs because that is where the cold virus lives.
