i think most girls do... or at least i do... hmmmm... maybe i'm wrong and it's just me... but no i know at least 47 girls who LOVE poetry from guys. they basically fall in love the second they read it if it's good enough.

Girls like different stuff. Yeah, some girls like guys who write poetry and is good at it. But don't expect all of us to like it... It also depends on the type of person the girl is. If she's a poet herself, she might be interested. Don't go fake for a girl. Truth is the best.

I don't even like the poetry I have to read in AP English. Writing poetry is a custom that belongs in 17th-century England, not here and not now.

yes, i think that a guy how know how to write poetry is attractive. It shows me how sweet and romantic he can be. I really like when a guy reads he poetry to you, it just gives me butterflies.
So if you write poerty its a good thing, because the girl that you like or will like might like a guy whos a romantic at heart.

Hey, All girls like different tihngs. The best thing for you to do is just be yourself. A girl might like you if you are something different than yourself but you cant be not yourself forever and then that girl might stop liking you but so many other girls like you for who you are. I like guys who would write poetry....and would not be afraid to share it cuz i love writing....but some of my friends wouldnt do you know what im saying?

YES I do. The guy that I like writes poetry all the time. He Puts them in a newsletter in the library. He has wrote and published a book, he won a scholarship to Harvard, and has won many awards. I find it to be extremely sexy.

It's great to be able to write poetry well, or to be able to do anything great, but what would impress me most is a guy's personality, if he was meek. It may sound cheesy but it's true. 3 cheers for chivalry!

of course especially when they write it for you. when my boyfriend at the time told me he wrote poetry and showed his poetry to me (i was the 1st person he told he wrote poetry) i almost swooned. now he puts his poetry in his profile. its fantastic.

poetry? ughhhhhh some poems can be good. But I really don't care if a guy I'm with is good at poetry or not. If he's good at it, good. If he's not good at it, it's all good.
