use a tin cookie box, or a cardboard box (small) or a covered plastic container. Make your cookies and ensure they are properly cooled. Layer your cookies in your box with pieces of wax paper between the layers. Put the cover on and give the cookies to your friends.
You can make any kind of cookie and deliver it this way. Oatmeal, chocolate chip, sugar, shortbread, butterscotch etc etc. google cookie recipes and you will get thousands of ideas.

This site should give you some ideas on different cookies to bake. The best part is, they're extremely easy.. but they taste like you put a lot of time and effort into them.

You can package the cookies in anything, really. Small mason jars, tupperware, small baskets, even in saran-wrap (just tie the top closed with a ribbon).

Oh, and you can 'shape' just about any type of cookie.. Just use a cookie-cutter.

Have fun!

sugar cookies are good for that I have cookie gun and use the pre-made stuff. As for packaging there there are all different kinds of tins at walmart for 1 or 2 buck sometime more depending on size. If your looking for bags I think the zip lock like bags themed are cute and a good price if your making packs for a group. Remember to let your cookies are fully cooled on a rack be for packing them because if the are still hot/warm they will steam in what ever they are packed and become soggy or make the tissue paper run.

I saw this really cute cookie set up. A women brought them into school like this. She used photo boxes and "scrapbooked" the tops to match the kind of cookies inside. If you were doing shapes of cookies you could do a couple boxes with the shape of the cookies decorated on the outside. For example: heart cookies you could scrapbook on the outside hearts made out of all different kinds of papers and colors with heart buttons and cookies. Or if you did letters you could use abc's and words all over the outside.

you can put each cookie inside a paper cupcake liner then put them in a box. that way they are more individual if they are being presented to differnt people. Also, a pizza box wraped in gift wrap (do the insides too) is nice for this.

Use pink Reyolds plastic wrap and seal it with some colored ribbon. This is cheap and easy.
