Not sure if this is some gland thing, some body odor thing or what. Does somebody have any idea? He gets regular baths, eats right and is brushed after baths.

Okay we have a Chiauahuah (10 years old) and he has smelled like "corn chips" ALL HIS LIFE... especially when he's been sleeping. I am sure there's some scientific reason, but I have no idea what it is... and I thought it was just our dog that smelled like Fritos/Doritos!!!!!!! Weird!!!

Oh my gosh! I thought I was the only one that thought my dogs smelled like Fritos! My littel dog, Frito, (for obvious reasons) has that smell. I think it's just a body odor, as I have smelled a lot of dogs that smell like that. (to me, anyway)

Oh my God-my pit bull's feet smell just like fritos! How weird. He is clean & lives inside-they have always smelled like that. Just wanted you to know that you aren't alone.

Just guessing here, perhaps that is just his natural body odour??

I worked in an office where the chief financial officer smelled like decaying onions. Used to think of him as onion pits. Everyone had to use room spray after he walked by.

So, although your pup smells like a snack food product, it could have been worse.

It could be something in the food you're feeding him, or it could just be the type of dog you have. Hounds smell like hounds...that kind of thing. Try changing his food for a while and see if it makes a difference. Really though...it's not unheard of for a dog's PAWS to smell like corn chips.

They scent like grassy airborne dirt and dirt scent and each so often cereal. i think of your might desire to scent like Fritos simply by fact it would desire to be stepping on them or you get carry of a Fritos on your nostril and you scent Fritos.
