why is it in man's nature to never be satisfied with what he has? Why must he purse more power, women, money, etc etc....

Man is susceptible to many things but one of the most prevalent is that of greed ,,,, The masses and in fact the entire world is made to suffer because of this one fault ,,,, not only now but throughout history ,,,, The more he gets the more he wants ,,,, This is obvious in our corporate/political leadership ,,,, The political leaders are bought and owned by the corporate sectors ,,,, So they won't make a decision until they have figured out just how lucrative it's going to be for them first ,,,, It's the corporate sector that runs this country not the political leadership ,,,, Greed is always going to be with us ,,,, We have a greedy under handed leadership ,,,, And it will remain that way for as long as the people of this country allow it to continue ,,,,

General lack of self esteem and a lifetime of being told this is the way to live. Hey, I have a frig with ice and water in the door, but, I drive a Chevy Geo Metro 1998 model. Personally, I could not live in NY or be a stock broker. I am not a type A personality.

I'd be inclined to say it's human nature. Darwin's survival of the fittest. By pursuing higher goals, man will be better able to survive in this world. Just a thought..
