Was there a provision in NAFTA or another treaty allowing American medical law to prevail for 250 miles SOUTH of the border, effectively shutting down alternative cancer clinics there?

It can't.

Besides, NAFTA is about (supposedly) free trade. But what it's really about is free trade for American goods and only American goods.

I'm a Candian and proud of it.

rava, sorry to be you in all of the cold weather and i wish that we had the same health care program that you're country as well as most European countries have available to them but it seems we are out to protect the planet from it's own destruction (it's costly to be a superpower, but you wouldn't know anything of that).
to answer the question of the U.S. controlling the meds or any-
other medical treatments the answer is no, heck we can't
even control the illegal immigration and drug traffic. good question, you get a star!!!!
