I've been on a few dates with this guy. When we're together, he seems really into me. But, when I call or email him, he doesn't get back to me until at least a day, sometimes 2. Is this normal for guys? Do you think this is just how some guys are, or do you think he just doesn't like me enough? I am going crazy trying to figure him out. Thanks for your answers......

By the way, we're both in our late 20's.

Hahaha!! Babe, you have just aksed a cotton-picking mouthfull! I'm going through the exact same trouble!! This guy seems to be 100% with me when we're together... and that's like once a week... And when I call, his phone rings on and on... never answers... and never clals back... I e-mail him, and nothing. ANd just when I start believing he's lost all interest in me, he seems to pop out of thin air and we once again hit it off!! his excuse is that he's usually tied up at work and that he is rather flaky when it comes to phone calls... last weekend his car broke down, blah blah... Truth is, he might be with someone else... I don't know. I don't wanna know... But from your story, my guesws is that many guys today are like that. They really want to take things slow, just in case you're a nutbag. Some guys really do want the old fashioned stuff and want to be 100% sure you have what it takes...
Have some patience... But my advice is: DON'T stop dating or you'll prune into boredom.

He's sending a message and you probably don't want to hear it. No, it's not normal for a guy to do that who is impressed with you and wants to be with you. He doesn't like you enough to respect you and honor you. (Those may sound odd as a description of what he needs to to do but it IS what good friends and bf/gfs do.)

I dont know if this is true or not but I heard that your suposed to wait a day or two before calling back so you dont seem desperate.

If you are wondering why - then you should ask him directly. When I call or email you - how come it takes so long for your response? He may be busy -- so don't discount that he has a life besides you.

He is playing games or dating lots of girls. Stay busy and don't always be available and STOP calling him!!! No Emails!!

What does he do for a living, maybe he's swamped & writes or calls when he can. Or maybe your reading to much in to it. Calm down... keep yourself occupied in between calls or find someone else.

Why can't you just chill?! He's probably got other stuff to do.......and your being to insecure. Relax and stop making yourself so available! You'll see a difference!
