you should use "cual",it means "which".,refering to something or someone(types or kinds)(particular one)(things)(way)

what ="que",(which one;which things= adjective)

when="cuando"(at what time,at wich time(pronoun)

which=(pronoun),what one or ones;the one previously,whatever one or ones
