Lonely. I feel like if I had a boyfriend of something or just someone to be interested enough in me to ask me out that the lonliness would go away. I mean... I dont need a lot just to have a person I know who likes me. Any comments?

By the way, all I have is aquiantances not BEST friends. Maybe that is part of the reason.

well i think what you need is someone who cares about you
and many of us do
if you feel lonely
email me
i am not asking you out
but if you need someone to talk to
maybe the lonliness would subside
but i also feel the same way

Thats a tufffffff one. I don't have a boyfriend, ones from the past were super annoying and lazy, no drive at all. I am actually happier now that I am single, more freedom. A friend may eventually come around. Even if you keep in touch with someone through this site you create a friendship eventually.
Maybe you could join a group to get out with others who share your interests!

A boyfriend isn't the answer. You have to be happy with you first. Figure out what interests you & join some kind of places where the same people are with the same interests. You will meet other people & then you can go from there.

true in a way but then again one person can't do it all. he can't be there 24/7 and hanging out all the time just so you aren't bored isn't going to be very healthy. If you want a boyfriend make sure you stay busy with other things too so it's not like you are relying on him just to keep you from being bored

Just be open, meet new people, socialize. Is important taht you don't become desperate for guy because in result it will lower your standards and you don't want that. If i were you i would focus more time in socializing and your future and while you do that just be as beauitful as you can be at all times. Then you'll see that the perfect man will come.

diversify your portfolio. I would guess you are not getting out enough. If you were involved in a lot of stuff and treated people very nicely, you would have your fair share of people to do things with as an offshoot of your involvement. Don't be a hermit. no one is going to come to you.

Try talking to your best friend, I know the feeling, and it will go away, but a guy isn't going to make it better, if anything worse-- I know how you feel, I've felt the same way........
REMEMBER:
To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.
