Recently purchased a Kodak EasyShare C330 and Dane-Elec 256mb memory card. After installing the memory card, I get a "Memory card is full" message. When I try to format the card with the camera, I get a "FILESYS ERROR e00100" message. I have read somewhere that you can attempt to format the card through your computer. However, I don't know how to do this. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Always format the card with the camera. Consult your owners manual. If that doesn't help contact the manufacturer directly.
P.S. It is the correct card right?

Oh boy. plainly that elimination stunt (the digicam develop into probable grew to develop into on on the time), has corrupted your card. If neither gadget will examine it there's a pair of belongings you may attempt. A usb card reader would artwork. they're no longer intense priced and are available in the position ever cameras are bought. in case you get an similar reaction with it - it would not seem sturdy. There are some loose receive classes for image restore that would help... only google. Barring that some image shops have software that would get them lower back for you although that is going to fee you. If I were you i'd make the chum pay the fee if it truly is what you eventually end up doing. If none of those artwork the cardboard is undesirable and each and every thing on that is lost. Now evaluate this, why did you enable everyone to deal together with your digicam interior the first position - under no circumstances a sturdy theory... yet i wager you've already figured that out.

Sounds like you have a bad memory card. If its a SanDisk or LExar it has like a 3 year warranty.

OR the card is TOO BIG for the camera. You have to have above a Kodak 533 to use a 2 GB card. That means a 633, 653, 753, etc.

Well first u should have asked or checked if it was formated, because if u formatted in the end then there is a chance that all of ur pics can be erased. O and u just stick the memory into the drive and a little box will come up and tell u that it needs formating
