We all keep learning. Just keep using the PC. You'll pick it up as you go. If there is anything in particular you need to know a question on here will usually get the correct answer as long as you don't take any notice of the stupid ones.

I have been messing around on computers for a few years and it took a while to feel like I would not break it or my nerves lol. It is like most things education is the best defense. I took about three basic classes and have learned by trial and error. I am in my 50s my grandkids learn more at school about pc s than I know in a way. I can do most programs, data processing minor repairs adding memory and so on a lot of my growth on computers has occured as I lost the fear of screwing up. I am not sure if anyone will ever really know about pc s to a greater degree because they are frequently updating and changing. It is a lot of work to keep up but I feel I like it enough that it is worth it. I have traveled almost all over the world on my PC and never left my living room for that lol so relax have fun and don't give up! Ronniea

Well that depends on how good you are at the computor, some people go and try to learn the computer, and they just seem to have two right hands, or two left hands. If you are a quit learner it will no time at all, but if you are not , it may take a while, but sooner or later if you keep at it you will get better, and things will get easier, an you will be good with the computor..ask other people that you may be talking to on line, cause they will tell you, so will people that you know that have computors them selfs. Just ask when you do not understand something, It seems that there is always someone out there willing to help you with the computor.

I think you need to complete your computer literacy course and then you might not need to ask this question.
The answer would be when you have finished your computer course and have passed your exam.
If you are self taught - practise makes you more familiar
If you are not already on a course to learn about your computer I would suggest you attend one, there are many courses in the UK on computer literacy that are free.

Just keep working at it and ask questions when in doubt...You really can't mess it up unless you don't have anti virus programs &/or....STAY AWAY FROM PORNO.......very bad for killing your computer...
